Big Jobs Need Big Solutions.

You’ve heard that hydroseeding is the most efficient way to plant grass seed. But every time you use one of those tiny, tow-behind hydroseeders it’s a logistical nightmare.

Between constant reloads and the endless search for a reliable water source, the hassle quickly outweighs the hydroseeding hype.

The truth is, big commercial jobs require big hydroseeders—not those small, inefficient rentals.

With our fleet of large-capacity hydroseeding trucks, we can handle even the largest hydroseeding projects in a fraction of the time. Our expert team and advanced equipment deliver what those wimpy rentals can’t: fast, efficient, and professional results. Let us take the stress out of seeding so you can focus on what you do best.

Save time and money with commercial hydroseeding.

Durable

Our high-quality hydroseeding slurries result in lawns with fewer weeds, stronger root systems, and increased erosion control. Give your clients a lawn that lasts.

Versatile

Hydroseeding is just as effective on flat services as it is on sloped, hard-to reach areas. The custom seed mixtures can be used for anything from a sports field to a roadside wildflower meadow.

Why use commercial hydroseeding?

Patchy grass isn't just an eyesore—it’s bad for business. Commercial hydroseeding is the smart, budget-friendly way to cover large areas with lush, green grass. Our expertly crafted hydroseed mixtures deliver vibrant, healthy lawns that enhance curb appeal and reflect the professionalism of your business or the businesses you serve.

We get it — everybody wants a lush lawn, but it’s a lot of work to put one in.

We know how frustrating it is to spend hours doubled over, laying sod “green side up;” Or hand-seed a project only to have it wash away in the rain or come in patchy.

You want to give your clients a luxurious lawn that sets them apart and builds your reputation. We can help. We contract with landscapers and contractors in the Midwest to provide hassle-free hydroseeding.

Our advanced hydroseeding equipment and expert team can plant quick-growing lawns that last in a fraction of the time. When you partner with us, you’ll give your clients the best grass on the block and your business more time for more profitable work.

Superior can hydroseed more than just a lawn.

Tailored Solutions For Every Terrain

No irrigation? Poor soil? No worries.

We customize our hydroseed application and slurries to meet your location’s needs. Here are just a few of the modifications we can make:

Erosion Control Blankets

To fortify slopes, hills, and other erosion prone areas.

Flexterra Mulch

To bond with soil for added erosion protection on slopes and hills.

Proganics

To enhance depleted, low-nutrient soil.

Aquagel

To improve water absorption for sites without irrigation.

Special Seed Blends

To match your site’s needs (shade, low-mow, Ph adjustments, etc.).

What are the steps to hydroseed an area?

1. Site Analysis
Before we hydroseed, we will gather some information about your site. This helps us determine if soil amendments are necessary and the ideal mulch and seed mixture for the landscape. If needed, we will conduct a professional soil analysis.
2. Site Preparation
For better seed germination and quick results, we grade the land using specialized equipment. Good soil prep is essential for even coverage and strong, deep roots.
3. Custom Slurry Application
We apply the seed mixture evenly using a hydroseeding truck with a specialized tank and long application hose (or cannon on top of the truck) that can reach the entire site without damaging the property.
4. Post-Application Cleanup
We remove any overspray from surrounding surfaces to maintain a clean and professional finish.
5. Ongoing Care
To ensure your clients have a healthy lawn, we provide a watering and fertilization schedule. To maximize the growth of the lawn, we recommend reapplying the starter fertilizer three more times after the initial application. If you’d like, we can do that for you!

More About Hydroseeding Commercial

Commercial Hydroseed FAQs

Yes, hydroseeding is an effective erosion control method. The mulch in the seed slurry stabilizes the soil while the grass roots establish, preventing soil erosion and runoff. This is particularly beneficial for slopes and uneven terrain.

Commercial hydroseeding is ideal for commercial properties that need uniform coverage over large areas. Our hydroseeding equipment can provide comprehensive coverage for athletic fields, golf courses, large green spaces, agricultural purposes, and erosion-controlling roadside vegetation. Commercial hydroseeding is more cost-effective and less labor-intensive than sod. Because we customize our slurry blends to meet each landscape’s specific needs, you’ll see quick results with deep-rooted, even growth.

Landscapers, excavating companies, contractors and even municipalities subcontract with us to handle hydroseeding applications. This helps them get the best outcomes for their clients while freeing up time for bigger jobs or more profitable work. We also work with homeowners.

Once the site is prepped, the actual hydroseeding process takes just a few hours for most commercial properties. The custom seed slurry has everything the site needs for quick germination and even growth. You’ll likely see sprouts in just a week, giving your clients a beautiful lawn in no time.

We can prepare your site for hydroseeding. Most landscapers do the site prep and soil testing on their own, but if you need grading, testing or other prep, we can provide that service.

Caring for your hydroseed after application includes maintaining consistent soil moisture through watering, avoiding foot traffic on newly seeded areas, fertilizing the lawn at appropriate intervals, and following any specific instructions we have for your specific situation. Proper care ensures your clients end up with healthy grass that lasts.

Consistent moisture is a necessity for proper seed germination. Your hydroseeded lawn should be watered up to 3 times a day for 5–15 minutes. We will give you a post-hydroseed care plan after your commercial hydroseed service is completed.

The hydroseed slurry needs time to dry before you walk on it. Otherwise, the slurry can stick to the bottom of your shoes, resulting in bare spots where you walk. Even after the hydromulch is dry, we recommend avoiding all unnecessary foot traffic for a week.
