Build Lasting Partnerships
You want to create stunning landscapes and you want to scale your business. It feels like prioritizing one means sacrificing the other.
We believe you should be able to have both. Since 2000, we have been partnering with landscapers and contractors who want fast, flawless results.
Our expert crew and fleet of blower trucks can spread residential bark and mulch faster and more accurately than a crew can by hand.
In just a few hours, your clients will have beautiful, fresh mulch and you’ll have plenty of time back in your schedule for more work.
We’re here to help, not compete.
We subcontract with contractors, landscapers and municipalities instead of working with homeowners directly.
You maintain the client relationship while we handle the tedious mulching process.

The time required depends largely on the size of the property, but residential blown-in mulch installation typically takes just a few hours.
Fall and spring are the ideal times to lay mulch.
We recommend refreshing residential mulch and bark every year to maintain optimal weed control.
Hardwood bark decomposes quickly, enriching the soil by adding valuable nutrients. Its natural color generally begins to fade after 2-3 months of direct sunlight. Mulch lasts longer but still enriches the soil as it decomposes. Both options are excellent for weed control. Ultimately, the best choice depends on the homeowner’s budget and preference.
At Superior, we use hardwood bark and pine bark. Pine bark has a lower pH, making it a better choice for gardens.
Dyed mulch is treated to create vibrant, long-lasting colors like red, black, or brown. This process causes it to decompose slower than natural mulch. Natural mulch is made up of untreated organic materials like bark or wood chips.
Organic mulch, like bark and natural mulch, is ideal for landscaping projects. It is non-toxic, making it safe for pets and children.
Bark and mulch improve soil health, support plant growth, and help retain moisture while reducing weed growth. They also add a natural curb appeal your clients will love.
The cost depends on the size of your project and the type of mulch being used. For an accurate estimate, contact us for a free quote.
Mulch and bark are measured in cubic yards. One cubic yard of ground covering is enough for a 324-square-foot area at a depth of one inch. To determine how much bark or mulch you’ll need, use this formula: (Square footage × depth) ÷ 324 = cubic yards. If you hire us for mulch installation, we will calculate the amount needed for you, no math required.
No. Our blower trucks have long application hoses that allow us to reach difficult areas without causing any property damage.
